Making a unique, remarkable or extraordinary impact in the life of people around us by putting a smile on their faces
Providing care and support to Orphans and vulnerable children by facilitating education, good nutrition, counseling, health care, income generating activities and HIV/AIDS education.
WHAT IS THE ISSUE, PROBLEMS OR CHALLENGES?
Adequate Health care is not easily accessible and has high costs in the poor rural areas. The stigma attached to AIDS makes it very difficult for people trying to come to terms with HIV and manage their illness on a personal level.
AIDS has stigma and discrimination which has resulted negative attitudes, abuse and maltreatment directed to the people living with HIV/AIDS. They can be shunned by family, peers, and the community. Poor treatment in health-care and education settings, an erosion of rights; psychological damage can negatively affect the success of testing and treatment.
SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM
Provision of School supplies, counseling, medical care, training on HIV prevention and care.
Give micro grants to women with HIV/AIDS to start a small business or skills.
Providing adequate care for the orphans.
Opening a vocational center for the HIV/AIDS, and ex-sex workers to enable them earn a living.
CENTER FOR THE REHABILITATION OF HIV/AIDS PATIENTS
A place of succour for them, provision of treatment and vocational training such as Sewing, Soap making, Hat making and Art work (Sculpture and painting).
Education is one of the key barriers to the devastating AIDS issues that most of Africa faces. The purpose of this project is to design local programs for improving HIV/AIDS health information, treatment, prevention, support and cares as well as helping them meet their own needs through income generation and psycho-social support.
This project will also help local people affected by and infected with HIV/AIDS to attain long term sustainability. This includes learning about proper infection, pain control and nutrition as well as staying safe as a carrier.
A HOME AND REHABILITATION CENTER FOR NEGLECTED STREET CHILDREN
The main objective of this project is to help children in desperate situation by giving them a safe environment, to live in, feeding, giving a new life, hope and learning new skills.
This project is rewarding as the street children are crying out for LOVE, AFFECTION and ATTENTION. These children are faced with problems such as; lack of education, abuse, stealing, premature death, rape, prostitution etc. We give them a chance, a home, education and the emotional stability to grow to become leaders of tomorrow.
