Patricia Bragg ND, PhD., is a dynamic speaker and a living, energetic symbol of The Bragg Healthy Lifestyle she teaches. Daughter of healthy living crusader Dr. Paul C. The story of Bragg Live Food Products begins with Dr. Paul C. Bragg, who dedicated his life to showing others the way to vibrant health and wellness after surviving the ravages of tuberculosis as a teenager and rebuilding his body. He pioneered modern healthy living by opening America’s first Health Food Store in 1912, which promoted the benefits of purified/distilled water, juices, herbal teas and organic foods in the U.S. market. She has won international acclaim for her teachings in the health field and has toured the world over 30 times, spreading physical and spiritual health through Bragg Health Crusades and thousands of radio, television, and print interviews. The Bragg Vision for the future is exciting! Continuing on the Bragg Legacy and Crusade, Bragg Live Food Products is developing a one hundred twenty acre organic farm on the outskirts of Santa Barbara, California. The property is in the process of being modeled into an organic teaching farm as part of the mission of the Bragg Health Institute, which in the future will have facilities to educate and instruct the values of growing and eating organic foods, and living a healthy lifestyle.
The Bragg Health Institute has conducted an educational program called “Bring a Farmer to School”, in which Dr. Patricia Bragg, Dr. John Westerdahl – the Bragg Director of Health Science, and a Bragg Organic Farmer were invited to speak to children at schools. The future focus of the education outreach program is to teach children through the Bragg Health Kids Program the principles of a total healthy lifestyle, about the importance of eating more organic fruits and vegetables, and how organic farming plays an important

role in environmentally-friendly, nutritious plant foods. Over the years, Bragg Health Institute has donated thousands of pounds of organic apples grown on the Bragg Organic Farm and has spoken to thousands of students on the importance of Healthy Lifestyle Living – healthy foods, exercise, going organic, and the importance of keeping healthy and fit for a long, useful, productive, happy, fulfilled life.
Patricia’s efforts have let to substantial changes in the food service programs in the schools. Many schools are now serving healthier meals to the children.
